Dentistry, reimagined.

What we believe

Patient software runs the chair. CORA takes care of the work between patients — one place where your team, your patients, and your partners finally meet.

Built by someone who has served in every role in a dental practice.

Our values.

C
Collaboration

Communication is essential to better care.

O
Organization

Order is the foundation of good healthcare.

R
Reliability

A safe, protected, and stable system you can count on every day.

A
Ambition

We don't settle for how it's always been done.

The roadmap

Built in chapters.

Every relationship in a dental practice eventually leaves a paper trail — patients, partners, teams, vendors.

That is why Olka came first.

Because before dentistry can become truly connected — the document layer has to become intelligent, organized, and alive.

Olka — Document operating system

A dental document
is rarely
just a document.

They are tasks to complete, requirements to meet, deadlines to track, policies to follow, risks to manage.

The problem

A dental document is not just stored. It is touched, reviewed, completed, corrected, signed, acknowledged, verified, expired, renewed, shared, and followed up on — by many different people.

So the real problem isn't "Where is the document?"

The real problem is:

i.Who has it?
ii.Who needs it next?
iii.Who is responsible?
iv.What is missing?
v.What is expired?
vi.What needs approval?
vii.What needs a signature?
viii.Where does it stand today?

That is the dental document chaos Olka is built to organize.

The work between patients has never had its own software.

Until now.
The solution

Olka.

The document operating system for dentistry.

0+

Document types Olka recognizes and auto-files on upload. From employee files, insurance correspondences, OSHA logs, invoices.

What's built in

Six layers. All built for dental.

Each layer below is a category most practices solve with generic tools never designed for dentistry. Olka rebuilt every one of them from the ground up around dental documents, dental workflows, and dental compliance. Not consolidated. Customized.

CORA
Empowering dental teams

A letter from the founder.

To the dental community,

Everything in dentistry is connected.

The patient. The team. The partners. The vendors. We are all connected — and yet we're disconnected. We are a profession that is so close, and yet so far.

The year was 2000. I was a schedular in a dental office. We had just gotten Dentrix.

I remember it so clearly because I'd come from an office that ran on a big paper appointment book and a pencil. Now there was a screen. There was software. And I was sitting there, looking at it, thinking: one day, I'll build software like this.

I knew the relief that came from a tool that made the work easier — because I'd been doing the work the hard way. That feeling stayed with me. 26 years later, here I am, finally building software for the people on the receiving end of a hard day.

To build truly great software for a dental practice, you'd have to serve in every role. The chair. The front desk. The back office. The owner's chair. You'd have to feel what each person feels. You'd have to know where the work breaks, because you've broken under it yourself.

I've served in every one of those roles for 30+ years. And now I finally have the courage — and the time — to follow my vocation, not just my profession.

I'm building the part of dentistry most software companies avoid. Too many guardrails. Too many what-ifs. Too many unknowns.

Most dental software is built around the clinical side of care. But a dental practice does not run on clinical care alone. It runs on documents, requests, approvals, signatures, compliance, communication, follow-up, accountability, and all the operational work that happens between patients.

That part has been overlooked for too long.

CORA is the practice operations platform for dentistry. Olka is chapter one — the document operating system. Every document that runs the practice, in one place, with workflows, AI, and compliance built in. More chapters will follow. We're building this the way you'd write a book — thoughtfully, chapter by chapter.

What I want, more than anything, is to make the work of running a dental practice easier, faster, smarter — and to connect the dental ecosystem so closely that patients don't wait for care, and we don't wait to give it.

I am grateful to be helpful.

This is the foundation I wish I'd had on day one. Now it's yours.

Investing in CORA

Anyone who believes can be part of this.

A note from the founder

CORA isn't being built the usual way.

I'm not chasing a Series A. I'm not building toward an exit. I'm building something the dental community has needed for a long time — and I want the dental community to help build it.

If you believe in what we're doing, you can be part of it.

You don't have to be an institutional investor. You could be a patient who loves their dentist. A vendor or lab partner who's seen the gap firsthand. Another doctor who recognizes the problem. A family member or a friend. A practice owner who's been waiting for someone to do this.

Anyone who believes can be part of this.

If that's you — get in touch.

We'll talk. We'll figure out together what your support looks like — money, time, advice, referrals, or simply spreading the word. There's no minimum. There's no maximum. There's only what you're moved to bring, and what we need.

CORA is being built carefully and built well. With your help, it gets built faster — and reaches more practices that need it.

What people ask

The questions I get most.

Start with today. Upload what comes in today. Organize what matters today. The rest can come later — or never. Day one is enough.

Compliant from the start, including a Business Associate Agreement. Built for healthcare from day one — not added later as an afterthought.

Especially. Whether you're a solo dentist just opening your first office or running a few locations — the back-office work shouldn't pull you away from patient care. That's the dentist I built this for.

For dentists

The work between patients is its own full-time job.

Between patients, you're chasing the OSHA log, the new hire's paperwork, the supplier invoice, the medical clearance you've been waiting on from the referring physician. It's the small stuff that keeps the practice open — and it's all on you.

For every career stage

First office, tenth office, thirtieth year — Olka meets you wherever you are.

Every new location multiplies the paperwork, not the clarity.

Two locations or ten — the same problem. Documents in inboxes, on drives, on desktops, in folders nobody remembers naming. Olka keeps your business and patient documents in one place. Shares them HIPAA-secure with anyone in your ecosystem. Tracks where every document stands. And Katie — your dental-trained assistant — reads everything, so when you have a question, you don't search. You ask.

$165 per user, per month

HIPAA-compliant equivalents to Olka's six layers cost an average of $165 per user, per month.

Sum of HIPAA-eligible market rates for the six categories Olka replaces — productivity & storage, e-signature, task management, PDF editing, AI assistant, team collaboration — at typical paid tiers selected by healthcare practices that need a Business Associate Agreement. Real practice budgets vary; the calculator on the Olka product page lets you model your own.

AI-replaceable knowledge work

0.5 hours per user, per day, spent on searching, summarizing, and drafting routine documents.

Underlying research finds knowledge workers spend 1.8 to 2.5 hours per day on information search and routine document work. Dental practices are less knowledge-intensive than the corporate environments those studies measured, so we scaled the figure down significantly — to 30 minutes per user per day — to stay defensible for our audience.

Loaded labor cost

$28 per hour for dental support staff, fully loaded.

Direct wages for dental assistants and dental office receptionists fall in the $17–21 per hour range nationally. Adding standard healthcare-industry "loaded cost" multipliers — payroll taxes, benefits, paid time off, workspace overhead — produces an effective cost of approximately $25 to $32 per hour. We use $28 as a defensible middle figure.

Paper letter cost

$0.97 per piece of mail in direct materials, plus 5 minutes of staff time.

Stamp ($0.78) + #10 business envelope from bulk pack (~$0.15) + one sheet of 20lb paper (~$0.01) + black-and-white laser ink (~$0.03) = $0.97. Staff time to print, fold, address, seal, and mail one piece is approximately 5 minutes; at $28/hour loaded labor that's $2.33 per letter. Total per-letter direct cost: roughly $3.30, before any consideration of the 5–7 day turnaround that delays the work the document was meant to enable.

HIPAA penalty exposure

$100 to $50,000 per violation, up to $1.5 million per category per year.

Federal civil monetary penalties under the HITECH Act apply to covered entities that fail to maintain HIPAA-required safeguards. Tier 1 (no knowledge of violation): $100–$50,000 per violation. Tier 4 (willful neglect, uncorrected): $50,000–$1.5M. The $1.5M annual cap applies per identical violation category per year. These penalties are separate from any state-level fines, civil action exposure, or reputational consequences.

Working days per year

250 working days per year.

Standard convention: 52 weeks × 5 days = 260, minus approximately 10 federal holidays and typical paid time off, equals 250. This is the conventional figure used in labor-cost calculations across industries.
